This editions text is taken from the two finished manuscripts of the work preserved in the Library of Catalonia in addition to all the editions published during the poets life: those of 1877 (from theJocs Floralsvolume of that year), 1878, 1886, 1897 and, only in a very few cases, the 1902 edition that Verdaguer no longer had control over. The volume contains an introductory study, the poems text, annotations, an apparatus of variables that take into account the aforementioned testimonials, and an appendix that reproduces manuscripts and documents of interest by unveiling the editing process of LAtlàntida.
